First Grade Homework Sheet
Week of June 11, 2012
I can’t believe that this is our last
week of school for 2011-2012! We have
had an excellent year of learning and growing together. I am very proud of these First Graders and I
truly enjoyed sharing my last year of First Grade with them. I know that they are ready for Second Grade
and will continue to improve and excel.
I would like to thank all of you who
have supported and helped me this year.
Special thanks go to Heather and Paula who have done such an outstanding
job as Room Parents. I have enjoyed
working with all of you parents, grandparents, and families of these precious
children; it is always a partnership in the development of Active Catholics,
Lifelong Learners, Responsible Citizens, and Ambassadors of Hope which are the
Schoolwide Learning Expectations of Our Lady of the Assumption School. Thank you for everything you have done to
make this year successful and special.
I hope you all have a wonderful,
relaxing, and fun summer vacation and look forward to seeing you next
year! Please keep your children
physically and mentally active; give them good books to read, games to play,
sports to enjoy, trips to the library, museums, and interesting places, and
above all attend Mass regularly. I always
tell my students that I would love to receive letters from them. If they WRITE me (not email please), I
promise to write them back! I would love
to hear about their vacation. My mailing
